The Secret of the Louvre Abu Dhabi: Where You Can Enter for Free After 6 PM
Many people think the Louvre Abu Dhabi is only about ticketed exhibition halls. But this museum has a hidden gem that not everyone knows about: from 6 PM until closing time, you can enter its famous rooftop area for free — the one with the iconic “rain of light” dome and mirror-like water reflections.

🕰 When Exactly?

Every evening after 6 PM (time may vary depending on the season), you can enter the open-air terrace of the Louvre Abu Dhabi without a ticket. Just make sure to arrive on time: the museum usually closes at 9 PM, and on Thursdays and Fridays at 10 PM.

🚶 How to Get There?

Arrive at the Louvre Abu Dhabi as usual.

Go through the security check (no ticket needed).

Instead of heading toward the ticket counters, turn left — into the open area under the dome.

Security will let you pass without issue (personally tested ✅).
